During my corporate years in recruitment, sixteen in total, I have always known the recruitment industry to be extremely competitive and often agencies would work against each other for their own financial gain. This often results in a poor service for the candidate and client, to a degree undervalues the industry and does not do much for the reputation of recruitment.
Something amazing happened when I left the corporate world of recruitment!! I was unsure what was next and whilst enjoying three months garden leave, I went for lunch with someone I’d worked with previously who had set up on their own; Tony Line from Kent Recruitment Bureau Ltd. Not only did Tony’s confidence, journey and success convince me to give it a go, he offered me all the help and support he could to assist in setting up my business. It did not and has not stopped there; we run separate business in different markets but we communicate daily, share best practice, successes, frustrations and offer each other much needed on-going support and guidance.
My business has now been trading for one year, the first of many milestones achieved!! Additional to the trust that candidates and clients have had in me and Trapeze Recruitment over the past year. This would not have happened without Tony Line; thank you so much and here’s to many more years of working in partnership – something I never thought I would do in recruitment!
