Job Summary

As the Architectural and Structural Metalwork Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of metalwork projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.
  • Lead the planning and execution of architectural and structural metalwork projects, including but not limited to facades, staircases, balustrades, canopies, and bespoke metalwork installations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress, resolve any issues or challenges, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, and project teams to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, conflicts, and obstacles that may impact project delivery.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability among project teams to drive success and achieve project objectives.

Skills, Education and Experience required

  • Proven experience in project management within the architectural and structural metalwork industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical knowledge of architectural and structural metalwork processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of construction management principles, and industry standards and regulations.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
