Estate Manager (Ref: JO2364)

£35,000 - £50,000 per annum

Role and responsibilities

  • Management of leases, rent reviews, and general estate management tasks
  • Manage the relationship with the Engineering (facilities management) team and it’s appointed contractors to ensure excellent service is given to customers
  • Manage delivery of the advertising agreements
  • Manage the aged debt for the property business
  • Management of any statutory and lease compliance
  • Manage the delivery of cleaning and waste management activities that affect commercial and residential property
  • Manage the process for Energy Performance ratings for both commercial and residential property and advise on changes to legislation
  • Champion exceptional customer service, develop relationships with all customers with effective management of queries and complaints 

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience
  • Some experience of building surveying and maintenance
  • A proven track record of working with key stakeholders and property management
  • Have the ability to identify new opportunities
  • Demonstratable understanding of financial/budgetary implications
  • Basic understanding of business rates and VO functions
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Have the ability to be flexible to work outside of normal office hours if required
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
